Can one prevent Antimalware Executable to start hogging CPU for extended periods each time some network adapter gets active?

Hello. I first turned off defender the normal way under settings.

I installed another Anti Virus program and defender came back and

was running in the background. I tried 2 more times to turn off

defender. But it still came back. Don't need 2. This turned it off for good.

I have a program for Anti virus and Internet Security and a program

for Malware installed. It no longer tries to use 90% of my processor

anymore. I never said, Don't Install Protection. I never said go unprotected.

Everyone needs An Antivirus and Malware program. But 1 that does not

try to burn up your Processor, and nearly renders your computer almost

useless when running. Defender used to kick in at the worst time, like

when I would wake up my computer because I need to use it. I tried

several times to stop defender in task manager. But get messages like

Windows will become unstable and crash.

This was the only way I could get Defender Out of my way!

I have been fighting Defender since I first installed 8.1 a year ago.

3 weeks now and defender has not come back to bother me anymore.

Hello. I had this same problem with 8.1 & 10.

My friend found an app called "NO DEFENDER".

It's a portable app and you only have to use it once!

Defender is now turned off for good. If I go to

my defender settings the boxes are now unchecked,

and they are faded and can't be rechecked.

I have been using Win 10 now since 9-15-2015

with NO PROBLEM with defender anymore.

The App came from a TORRENT site, it was FREE.

Again it's called "NO DEFENDER".

I am sure Microsoft is not gonna like this post!!

But This worked for me.
