Seems NO ONE can come up with a fix or answer on this.
Copy and Paste Feature Not Working in Windows 8
Hi,
This is probably the wrong forum to post this question in. But I am running a Windows 8 Pro 64bit machine, and I am experiencing problems with the Copy, Cut and Paste feature in windows explorer, where I try to copy a directory or file from one location to another but it does not work. I do have permission rights. Is this a bug in the operating system?

2014-04-10T01:47:47+00:00 I have the same problem, can not copy and paste from ANY webpage, etc. Have had this problem for weeks now. Microsoft MUST have changed something for this suddenly to stop working. GEEZE you'd think after all these years Microsoft would start getting their new products to work before they SELL them and MAKE money off of them. I am NOT a happy customer.

2014-04-08T16:00:49+00:00 So why is this problem not a simple fix???? I cannot copy and paste with this windows 8.1. Very frustrating. :-()
There has to be a simple way to do this. I have a brand new computer and nothing is corrupted.

2014-03-20T14:15:46+00:00 Thanks for the post. I have had a problem with the copy or cut and paste function working between a web page and a program. I never thought of the anti-spy or anti-virus software blocking a basic function such as this.
It turns out that my program was being blocked by WebRoot. After changing the settings to allow access things are working fine.
