DPC Watchdog Violation Windows 8 [SOLVED]

Hello!

Time to time I get the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. Moustly when i play games. I use laptop Asus n56vz and SSD OCZ Vector 512 GB . I've tried updating all drivers, BIOS, and SSD Firmware, but i am still getting the error.  I used NOD32 Antivirus i unistalled it but still have this error.

I think the issue can be counted as solved now. No more BSODs after installing NVIDIA driver from laptop vendor ASUS.

    I had one more BSOD in games. So as you told me i have uninstalled DaemonTools and SPTD. Then i started Verifier again with same settings as before. And i had BSODs during boot again but this time IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL  So i turned off Verifier again in safe mode.

    Your call of course but if it was identified by "verifier" there is almost no chance it was something else and it wont go away.

    With BSODS they are always a combination of things so daemon may have worked for a week UNTIL it interacted with something else you may have installed.

    There are other tools that do the same thing and dont crash.  Google SPTD.SYS and see how many you find that exist and sound similar to you situation.

    Yes i have daemon tools free edition.  But i have noticed that in a first week of use of my laptop (when i had HDD) there were  no BSODs. So first i wanna wait for first BSOD or i hope i will have no more BSODs after firmware upgrade. And ill report here about solving of this issue. Else i will uninstall Daemon tools and continue searching with driver verivier.

    The verified one did indeed blame dtsoftbus01.sys and that is the driver for a virtuals drive like alcohol, or daemon tools.  Follow these to remove it

    Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

    They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

    Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure

    when you're done you can use this Freeware:

    MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place
