Definitely not the answer for me.
I am totally up-to-date with Nvidia, I do not have an asus laptop and I was not playing games...
But I am having constant problems with Mozilla Firefox, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was something not going right there.
Frankly, Windows 8 is software manure and a BIG step back from Windows 7. Every day something is incompatible with something else.
Microsoft should be shamefully embarrassed to have released something with so many glitches.
Again, Win8 is a slimmed down version of Win7 as many processes now operate in the cloud instead of in the processor's cache. This is a good development as it mean the processors have much more resources freed up when compared to Win 7. They run much more
efficiently and have longer life spans as a result. Gone are the days when the fan in the laptop would blow at max in order to keep the processor cooled down a bit. When people complain about Win8 it's mainly because they don't want to adapt to change. In
this case, change for the better in many respects.
