windows phone 8 failed update, sad face appears. How to fix it?

I wanted to update my wp8, but it failed, a sad face appeared. I tried to restart, but the sad face appears every time. What can I do????

Try this :D

Turn off the phone, Once the phone is off, Hold the Volume down key then plug the charger (charger should be connected to the power source ",) Once you see the excalmation ( ! ), remove your finger from the button.

Then press the following keys in, Volume Up, Volume Down, Power Key and Volume down. The phone will turn on automatically, this may take several minutes and it will show two gears that are spinning just wait for it to finish.

One more thing all the files on the phone will be deleted but if you have a microsoft account on the phone, check people.live.com to check the contact lists that you have and skydrive for the pictures, that's if you have a microsoft account on the phone.

    but I cant access the menu....when i restart my phone the logo comes in, then it seems like it starts to update, but immediately the sad face appears, and stays there until my phone discharges...until the sad face is there I can do nothing just to restart my phone, but when i do this, everything starts all over again....tomorrow I'm going to a center, but I don't think they will know what to do.... if you have any other suggestion, please write. Thanks a lot.

    i got a falsh symbol with a gear. but i followed hard resetting option.two gears started to spin but again it shows sad face ! please help me

    Heeyyyyy heeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyy....! This worked :) My spare phone (which then became my main phone, as I love it more so than my HTC) is a Prestigio duo. I got the sad face blue screen warning as was oing to give up. But thanks to this, it seems to be back on track... Thank you so much - I very much appreciate it :)

    it doesnt helps. why dont windows company sells **** instead, atleast a bit more useful than your devices
