Error recover web page, Internet Explorer not responding

Original Title: Internet not responding issues,

When I try to go to a web site 9 out of 10 times I get a pop up at the bottom of my page saying msn.com, or other websites, not responding. Then the question box opens to says recover web page? I click yes, but nothing happens!

Hi,

1.       When was the last time it was working fine?

2.       Which version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

3.       Have you made any recent software or hardware changes on the computer?

Method 1:

I would suggest you to run the Fixit from the link mentioned below and check.

Check if the issue occurs, if it does proceed to method 2.

**Note:**Resetting Internet Explorer is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and can't be recovered. Rather than resetting everything, you might want to reset specific settings in the Internet Options dialog box or delete your webpage history.

Note: There is a chance of data loss if any files are infected and which may be deleted in the clean up process.

    Run this from the command prompt and let me know if this helps.....

    I would suggest you to try enabling data execution prevention using these steps:

    a. Click Start and type cmd in start search box.

    b. Right click cmd in search results and click run as administrator.

    c. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

    bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn

    My computer updated then I could not open my candy crush. It keeps saying facebook,com not responding, recover page, I do and it keeps reloading with the same message and does not connect

    Hello Dan,

    Thank you for responding.

    I appreciate your concern.

    The mentioned fixit may only work for Windows 7.

    However, you may run Internet explorer performance troubleshooter in Windows 10 and check.

    Please follow these steps:

    a. Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar and click on it in results.

    b. Click "View all" and then click "Internet Explorer Performance".

    c. Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.
