How to Remove Sendori Malware?

Hello,

Does anyone here know anything about Sendori?  According to some it is a tool used to correct spelling errors, according to others it is a form of anti-spyware, and according to others it is a homepage hijacker.  I believe what I have is the latter as it has changed my homepage and degraded my browser performance.  I have heard that it is undetectable by AVG and I just did a full scan using Windows Security essentials and didn't pick it up.  I tried uninstalling through Control Panels - -> Programs and Features but could not remove it.  I am hesitant to use more radical methods to remove it such as deleting executables and .dlls or doing a forced uninstall using Revo Uninstaller as I have heard sometimes if you ARE able to remove it it will change your DNS settings upon removal.  Does anyone have any ideas?

You might also try this web site - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com - contains details for many of the common infections, often immediately after they began to appear in the wild, and instructions are provided for how to remove the infections using their malware removal guides. They also have forums where you can seek help from people who specialize in malware removal.

    The uninstaller didn't work for me; but it was able to finally get rid of it by doing a forced uninstall using Revo Uninstaller Pro.  Free trial available here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/

    It some how managed to download itself to my computer as well. Possibly through Win Amp. I don't play Facebook games or download **** on my computer just for this reason.

    This **** was attaching itself to emails that I was sending out, and doing God knows what else to my computer.

    However, I did manage to get rid of it.

    You can't do it through regedit, or Windows Explorer, and you can't stop it via Windows Task Manager.

    Even though you can see it in Windows Task Manager, it won't let you end it, so you can't just delete it.

    However, if you go to your hard drive (Local Disk) , under Programs Files and or Program Files (x86).

    You should see a folder Sendori, inside that folder is their uninstaller, it seems to have worked on my machine. We shall see.

    We are sorry to hear that you are uninstalling the Sendori application.  It should be as simple as selecting uninstall from the Windows control panel.  However, we posted comprehensive uninstall steps on our support site.  <removed > .
