Where can you see installed program?

To launch your applications, go to the Start Screen by pointing your mouse pointer to the left hand corner of the Windows 8 screen and click it.
Scroll to the right and launch your application.
In the same Start Screen, right click and click All Apps - you should see all installed applications on the system then.
If you prefer, you can enable "Show the Apps View Automatically when I go to Start". See here:

Look for an arrow in a circle in the bottom left of the Start Screen. Click that and you'll be in All Apps.
The problem I have with this is there's no keyboard shortcut, I must use my laptop trackpad to click a tiny little arrow in a circle! Bad interface design.
Getting to the list of all installed programs on my computer should involve just one simple click or keyboard shortcut. Instead I need to press the windows key, followed by clicking a tiny unlabelled icon with mouse pointer. My new laptop is not a touch screen so I prefer keyboard shortcuts more than mouse actions.
I know I can start typing the program's name, and I do that sometimes. But other times I like to browse my programs and find it that way. Perhaps I've installed a program and forgot what it was called.
If only..... If only there existed a shortcut to bring up that "All Apps" list. It's almost like Microsoft don't want people doing this because they want us using "apps" and tiles and all that stuff I don't want to use on my non-touch laptop.
And why insist on calling it "All Apps"? They are not "Apps" they are programs. My computer is not an iPad, it's a computer, and I don't use "apps" on it, I use programs. They are installed into a folder called "Program Files". They are called "programs" when you uninstall them. They are called programs everywhere EXCEPT the place where you want to pull up a list of them. Baffling!
