Hello Coonut,
Thank you for your reply,
I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.
Refer the link to create the installation disk:
How to create installation media for a PC refresh or reset:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media
Hope the information helps.
Please reply with the results, in order to help you fix the issue.
Wish u a Happy New Year!
Thank you
I have also had the same problem. Have run hardware checks on my laptop. Everything is ok. Memory, disk, Processor.
Have reinstalled my laptop 2 times. And randomly i get this repair loop. Have tried every option in the repair menu and all ends with "couldnt repair". And the loop continues.
Have reverted to Windows 7 temporarily. Really wants to run Windows 8, but as i have no clue to how to fix the problem or what is causing it, i cant.
Thanks Justin,
After running all that you suggested my notebook appear to have dual OS, it's supposed not to as I upgraded online, I can boot the window 7 until sign in and then it's go blank / black screen, with small massage on the right hand corner , Window build 97**, this copy is not genuine. MS,My copy is Genuine ASUS and the window 8 I download from MS site that reply to my email, and I paid for it. what is going on now. OMG
I'm having the same problem after installing the recent update, in my case i upgrade by downloading from the internet and the dvd is not an option yet. I am an advance use, have tried all the option, but the loop still on, should wait till the system is ok and not being a guinea pig guest
