Batman: Arkham city: Games for windows live doesn't pop up!

Hi, I'm here today because I have some problems with Games for Windows Live, or GFWL. I used it for many games, including Arkham Asylum, in which GFWL works fine, but when I try to open up GFWL in Arkham city pressing home, nothing happens. I reinstalled GFWL, updated it, and did all sorts of things, but nothing seems to be working. Any fixes? (Basically, I'm saying that even with GFWL installed, GFWL does not pop up in Arkham City even when I press home button and the "LIVE" button in-game.) Thanks in advance.

tried this but xlive.dll is not present anyways. how exactly do i fix this problem?

Here is the solution mate .. ------

Just got this after destroying my mind everywhere ..

I have a doubt and I was right... its Visual c++ redistributable problem.

    SOLUTION -----------------------------------

If you have a Win 8 RP x64 or any x64 version ... just download the visual c++ re.. 2010 and 2008 x64 or x86 version based on your OS.. from Microsoft's site or for full package, from softpedia..(4.8 mb) only... install it and run the game and then check.. it will work.. ;)

    And thank me later.
