the same problem i did everything that you guys did but nothing helped. maybe because i have 64bit system. i dont know but non of this three shitty sites help if somebody knows what to do heeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!

Hi, I'm here today because I have some problems with Games for Windows Live, or GFWL. I used it for many games, including Arkham Asylum, in which GFWL works fine, but when I try to open up GFWL in Arkham city pressing home, nothing happens. I reinstalled GFWL, updated it, and did all sorts of things, but nothing seems to be working. Any fixes? (Basically, I'm saying that even with GFWL installed, GFWL does not pop up in Arkham City even when I press home button and the "LIVE" button in-game.) Thanks in advance.

I've seen these Games for Windows Live errors all over the net and after finding the solution I thought I share with you and I ask you please share, so others may benefit.
I am running x64 OS (Windows 8.1, but the symptoms are the same in Windows 7 x64 too-tested). Whenever I had PhysX on inside the game I was playing, the Games for Windows Live wasn't activating when pressing the HOME key. With PhysX off, the live popup worked.
After looking all over the internet, I've stumbled a xbox forum post, that fixed everything. It is a x64 system issue.
To fix the LIVE popup problem, just copy the following files FROM "Windows\SysWOW64 TO "Windows\System32":
xlive.dll
xlive.cat (Security Catalog)
xlivefnt.dll
xliveinstall.dll
xliveinstallhost.exe
After I've done this, everything went smooth, regardless of PhysyX being activated or not.
32bit mode games won't find the the .dll's in SysWOW64 folder."
