Yes, I'd like to connect my Lumia to TV , so I want to connect keyboard (or gamepad or mouse). Besides, I'd like to connect External Sound Amplifier etc. There are a lot of things to connect!

2014-06-28T23:04:09+00:00 There are so many more connectivity options now, OTG seems sort of a legacy capability. What are you really going to hook up? Thumb drive to backup photos, files? You have OneDrive for that. Sharing photos, files, BT, NFC. Surely you aren't going to use a leyboard lr mouse. Until recently, there wasn't even a file manager in WP, so accessing files on a connected drive would have been problematic. Yea, other OSs support it, but not all devices built on those OSs do.Both hardware and software is requires to provide the USB host capability. I would guess there is a chance fiture WPs might support it, but I wouldn't hold my breath that current ones would get it. rr
