Windows 7 update not working

It dos'nt work : Same old stories...

I'm not trying to knock you for trying-------but why on God's Green Earth would you ever want to upgrade to Win10?-------It is nothing but a privacy and security nightmare!

You see, it follows this simple but pervasive concept that the marketing world has adopted with open arms because all the advertising companies care about is how much money they can make off of who you are and what you do-------essentially they're saying that your personal business is no longer your personal business but theirs for the taking...

When companies get you to sacrifice your privacy-------they also in(ad)vertently cause you to sacrifice your security.

It's a basic and simple truth. You can't have security without privacy (though some may try to convince you otherwise)-------those whom do are simply beholden to the manipulated status-quo so flagrantly perpetuated by the corporate thugs whom practically own us because they influence governments to get a free pass to blackmail us into privacy-violating ToS agreements, of which if most of us actually read, we'd rightfully be distraught and angered by what these companies are actually doing to our identities, our way of life and our rights to protect our personally identifiable information.

At least with Windows 7-------you still have near complete control of your system and are not forcibly subjected to forced updates and ad-marketing features which are so deeply ingrained into the OS that you would most likely destroy it if you attempted to remove such components-------that is, if you can even figure out how to do that on Win10!

At least with Window 7--------your PC is still just that------a (P)ersonal (C)omputer.

On one machine running Windows 7 64-bit, I clicked Windows Update & I get a "red" warning (similar to your example), but warning me, "Windows 10 could Not Be Installed"  You need Help with this - (something like that), and gives me error code:  C1900101-30017.  If I just click "check for updates" it returns to the familiar Windows Update and from then on it acts (and looks) normal.  Even if I'm doing something else and go back to Windows Update, it looks like it otta look.  p.s. - I've never seen an error code that resembles the code I get.

p.s. All of my machines have KB3102810 installed!  Thanks for that tip, though
