Details are a must.   What does "not working" mean, or rather, is that enough background for someone to figure out the How & the what is being tried  ??

What information to post in the Windows Update forum

         http://answers.microsoft.com/thread/1467f44b-ee27-4f7d-98d7-f1c4b35b3395

very much need detail information !!

the specific KB-update/fix id  that is failing

    the specific failre code

if this was automatic updates, or , if you did a manual visit to Windows Update?

do a Windows Update run. But don't get anything.

On the left side, click on View Update History (upper left-pane)

Any recent ones you see marked Failed

then double click to get a popup window. Get the error details code

As crazy as it sounds, after failing with *every other “solution”, I tried the “Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver update”  listed at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproperf/thread/3b716d4c-fb5f-411b-9aee-38af1c529336/ and  it worked!!!

    ·         Here is solution :

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02219204&cc=nl&lc=en&dlc=en&product

    Download and install it.
