What does 'possible heap corruption detected' mean, when listed in the Event Viewer?

I have run sfc/scannow - not problems.  the winmgmt/repository scan didn't detect any errors. I ran a malware scanner and that deleted one suspicious file.

To be honest I can't be bothered to remove Panda and re-instal it again.  I have been told by a Panda technician that it is a Windows problem, even though the issues started after the 10th August 2011.  I don't want to use MSE as I don't trust the program.

On the forums, I've looked on, most people who have the action centre issue - re:  action center reporting there isn't an anti-virus - have turned off the anti-virus and spyware reporting and this is what I have done.

Panda is protecting my computer, i have no issues with RAM, there are no integrity violations and there haven't been any BSODS.

I think I'm going to leave it, because if I do a clean re-install of Windows, once I have backed up my hard-drive, (I still have to buy a caddy), no doubt I will lose the System Restore function once more.

I would not disagree with anything Palcouk has said.

Whilst my experience has been that recognition of installed anti-virus software by the Windows Security Center can be hit and miss, the Security Center commonly misreports no secuity software is installed when it is, you do need to create a situation where you can identify and resolve other recurring errors. What Palcouk suggests will help, even if it is only for a period until you have eliminated or substantially reduced the number recurring errors.

Don't forget my earlier messages about other specific errors. A fresh look at Event Viewer logs will no doubt yield further problems to be looked at. I stopped looking at earlier logs because I felt you needed to resolve some of the problems already brought to your attention first before raising new issues.

Side By Side errors are often caused by C++ and possibly ,Net Framework

I would uninstall both Panda and Nero, (Assuming you have the Keys and installation media they can allways be reinstalled at a later date) and delete the Event Viewr logs

Then install SE from MS http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Then check if the event errors have reduced or gone away.

Since both Panda & Nero are scources of some err's you are not going to get anywhere with diagnosys untill you remove them from the equation

I did the memory test and the computer reported that the memory was ok.

There are no BSODS and  my computer starts up ok as well.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Panda and I am still getting the error:  The Windows Security Center Service was unable to establish event queries with WMI to monitor third party anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall.

Tha action centre also reports that Panda IS 2012 is switched off, when in fact it isn't.  All the errors with regards to security start to occur after I installed IS 2012.
