can I use send to mail recipient with the mail app?

I've tried to right click on a file in Windows 8 and select Send To > Mail Recipient, but it gives an error saying that i haven't associated an email program. The Mail app is already set to all its defaults, and it doesn't change anything. Can I use the mail app with Send To?

    I doubt that they are going to change it.

    I really hope they are going to resolve this issue, because this is an ISSUE, and it's really annoying. Maybe if the Metro had it's own, nice looking, intuitive explorer (because there is something built in, like when you are within your Mail app and you add an attachment, it opens some kind of explorer to search for a file) it wouldn't be such a problem. I think Windows 8 is a fail, I bought it only because I thought 7 was amazing. And I thought it would be even better, but the lack of compatibility between the core and the Metro is really disappointing... :( The whole Metro concept is not really working out for me, in my opinion it should be still a beta, heck it looks and feels like a beta. I really liked the idea, but it's just not finished, it's lacking lots... I hope Microsoft is going to be constantly working on Metro, and I hope they are reading threads like this one...

    I am really disappointed by this sort of issue. Metro is not only an unusual touch-oriented piece of **** but even a non-integrated one. you should release it as a beta or better throw it off at all. HOW MANY MAIL CLIENTS AM I SUPPOSED TO INSTALL????

    The email program that you can download from Microsoft is Windows Live Mail.
