Want to play chess titans on Windows 8.

Greetings , have you tried " Chess Giants" by PM Baty ? It is soooooo close to Titans that it is almost the same . Just GOOGLE it , its well worth the money . He priced it at 9.90 EUROS which is like $ 13.00 and after playing for a while i would have paid more....... Hope this is helpful ........ L,Threecrows

it is nothing but continuous troubles, it is not user friendly, it has endless list of malfunctions

wait till u get the updates it just goes wanky, a mind of its own, it will not recognize your router any more

Thank you very much. Removing Chess Titans from Windows 8 is reason number 1001 that I have regretted ever buying a machine with this idiotic Win8 operating system.

Upgrades are supposed to be an improvement. How many complaints have you had about this?

Three points:

1. Although Chess Titans is not officially supported in Windows 8, it
   is available. For instructions on how to get it, see

2. As far as I'm concerned, Chess Titans plays extremely poorly, and
   is easy to beat; there are several better choices you can get instead.
   I recommend Deep Fritz and Rybka.
3. You say "How many complaints have you had about this?" so you
   apparently think you are addressing Microsoft here. You are not.
   This is a peer support forum. We are all just users of this version of
   Windows here, helping each other if and when we can. We are not
   Microsoft employees (not even those of us with "Microsoft MVP" behind
   our names; that's an honorary title for having provided consistently
   helpful advice) except for an occasional employee.

If you want to complain to Microsoft about something, please contact
them directly. Trying to do it here is just a waste of (figurative)
breath.
