WIFI connection shows Limited Access windows 8

I use windows 8 enterprise evaluation.i can use wife network but it show access limited often.i disconnect wifi and reconnect it solve.i feel disgust....

HP pavilion G6-1262er ....broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n 1x1 wifi adapter

security type:WPA2-PSK

i update device it couldnt solve.uninstall and install device couldnt.

Please answer my question.what must i do??? :)

I had the same problem of my wifi showing limited everytime I connect. After searching in internet for 2 hours and trying various options like netsh reset, disable\enable, network discovery on, power saver change mode, tcip reset, ip config manual, metered download enable etc. nothing worked!

But then I thought to reinstall my WLAN driver. In my case, my lenovo laptop had drivers in the path D:\drivers\WLAN. I launched the setup and reinstalled and hurrah I am able to connect without any problem now!!!

I would recommend you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

Does this issue occur while connecting it through a wired network?

Method 1

Run Network troubleshooter.

a. Press “windows Key + W”. from the start screen

b. Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and hit enter.

c. Select “Network and Internet” option

d. First select “Internet connections” troubleshooter.

e. Follow the on-screen instructions.

f. Then select “Network Adapter” troubleshooter and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2

I would suggest you to try the steps from the link given below:

Method 3:

Try resetting TCP/IP.

Reset TCPIP and check if it works.

Follow the steps

a) Boot to the desktop view.

b) Open command prompt, right click in the left corner when the Start window appear and select command prompt (admin).

c) At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

d) Reboot the computer.

I'm having the same problem with two different devices and three different Wi-Fi devices. I have a Dell XT2 laptop and a Dell Latitude 10 tablet both running W8 Pro. Both connect and work fine on multiple Wi-Fi connections, but on occasion for no apparent reason I will get the limited connection issue with no internet access. The Wi-Fi device is working correctly as other devices are connected and surfing the internet without a problem.

I have tried all sorts of things to fix the issue, but nothing is permanent. It happens coming out of hibernation and at other times just switching Wi-Fi networks without hibernating.

Both devices have all the latest updates and driver installed. Hopefully this issue will be tracked down and fixed once and for all!

I have searched high and wide for a solution, everyone claims it is a driver conflict.

In the end I found a very helpful youtube video. I did this and the limited access stopped happening as soon as I rebooted.

The issue from what it appears is simply a check box in the driver properties power management tab "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" uncheck this, reboot and you are good to go.

I bought a Windows 8 laptop last December. It got repaired twice (changing the motherboard) but it works fine until last week, the wifi connectivity started to be limited. I tried to trobleshoot the problem and it just shows the signal strength of the wifi is full but no connectivity. By the way, the IPV6 has no internet connection. I tried all of this methods and none of this seems to help. I had also tried other websites way but it still won't work. Is there any other way to fix this problem????? I need it as fast as possible.......URGENT!!!!
