Let's get a little wayalong to the solution.

There is a configuration error with your BITS service.

Please COPY all the lines between the ++++++++ (but not the ++) and paste into a Notepad window.

Save the file as BITS.REG to your desktop.

Once saved, close Notepad.

right-click on the BITS.REG file you just saved, and select Merge from the options list.

You'll get a couple of warnings - accept them.

You should get a 'Success' message.

Reboot

now open an Elevated Command Prompt Window and COPY AND PASTE the following commands

NET START BITS

SC QC BITS

SC QUERYEX BITS

post the results.

Have you changed this setting in your BIOS?

To boot from the DVD you select option 2

    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/31541-windows-7-usb-dvd-download-tool.html?filter\[2\]=General%20Tips

You do not have to create the bootable DVD on the computer you intend to use it on.

i have a scandisc 8 gb memory stick. can i extract the iso onto that or do i just drag the whole file from my documents onto the memory stick ?

agh... when i put my usb stick into the port my computer is not acknowledging it as its in safe mode , so i guess i cannot do the usb option ?
