After inactivity of around 1 minute in windows 8 the computer locks itself... I have to reenter my password. I have tried everything, power options, personalization, and it's still not taking it off. All of the features that relate to turning off the auto lock are off too. Help please!!

Found a fix, under User Accounts, clicking reset security policies seems to have fixed the issue. Also, it fixed the issue of not being able to change the screensaver timeout. I haven't been able to track down the specific policy caused the problem in the first place, but this works for now.

All three are different hardware with no common third party software that would be causing this kind of issue (dropbox, etc). If I change my screensaver from none to blank, it blanks the screen and doesn't bring up the lock screen. When I try to change the delay for the screensaver to something other than 1 minute, it resets to 1 minute when I close the dialog. I found the registry key for changing the screen saver time and have changed that but haven't had a chance to reboot yet. I'll update again after I do.
Are you running some common to all machines third party software that might be causing this problem?
Are all your machines the same make and model, if so is there any Bios update available, or have you tried using the Safe Defaults for the Bios?
On any machine if you test in Safe Mode does it still happen?
