Hey guys, I have install Windows 8 Home, I want to extend my C drive space, but the system won't let me. I've try AOMEI to extend it , AOMEI crashed my system in Pre-OS mode. I got it fix eventually. But I really really want to extend my C drive and I don't want to reinstall the system, can anyone help me please?

Did you free up space to the right of drive C? You need space immediately to the right to extend into it. If you have the D or E drive there you will need to move your content out, and delete the volume to free up space. You can then recreate volumes from the remaining space afterwards, and reorganise your content.

Following to your steps it's only allow to extend the volume to D or E drive. it's not highlighting the Extend volume TAB in c drive after shrinking the volume.
Could you please suggest with the appropriate solution for extending the volume to C Drive.

You probably do not select a right partition tool for your partition. In fact, I have ever tried to extend my system partition as it is nearly full. But, as I try to extend it in Disk Management after deleting a useless partition, the “extend” option just cannot be used. Therefore, I finally followed many recommended on the internet and tried many efficient partition management programs, such as:
IM-Magic Partition Resizer Free
EaseUS Partition Master

GParted
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/
All of them are great tools and have eventually extended my system partition successfully. Till now, I still can clearly remember the extremely user-friendly interface of the first partition tool.
Just go select one!
Note: Do not forget to back up everything important in case of data loss.
