Extend my C drive space in Windows 8

Hey guys, I have install Windows 8 Home, I want to extend my C drive space, but the system won't let me. I've try AOMEI to extend it , AOMEI crashed my system in Pre-OS mode. I got it fix eventually. But I really really want to extend my C drive and I don't want to reinstall the system, can anyone help me please?

    you are right friend! it worked for me! it just took me less than a minute! i just deleted my drive E freed 250GB and luckily the box in which was written "un-allocated space" went to the right of local disc C and then the expand option came back to life haha! please fellas! try doing what gonzonator1982 says i'm sure you wont be disappointed! n ya thanks bud! i was scratching my head since 3 to 4 hours searching for a solution, u helped a lot!

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft community!

    What happens when you try to extend the partition?

    How many drives do you have on your computer?

    Do you have enough space in other drives?

    Follow the steps on how to Resize a Partition.

    a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.

    b. Click on search.

    c. Click settings.

    d. Now type Partition in the search option.

    e. Click on Create and format hard disk partitions.

    f. In the Disk Management screen, just right-click on the partition that you want to shrink except c:/, and select “Shrink Volume” from the menu

    g. In the Shrink dialog, you will want to enter the amount you want to shrink by, not the new size. For example, if you want to shrink your 50gb partition by roughly 10gb so that it will now be roughly 40gb, enter 10000 into the box.

    h. Right-click on the partition that you want to shrink, and select “Extend Volume” from the menu.

    i. Click ok and restart the computer.

    Note that the extend partition feature only works with contiguous space.

    c is of 28gb n d of178 n e drive of 205gb n  f drive of 30 gb ...

    i want to extend c drive with f drive .... becoz my c drive is full...

    plzz tell me the steps for extend c drive ...

    Abhikuri108, you should read the comments above.

    For specific advice you will need to give some detail on how your drive is configured, specifically the size and order of the partitions, from left to right.
