Additional Details

I installed Windows Live Mail on 6 December 2011 and added a Google Mail account to it.  It was working fine until about a week ago when every time I went to check my mail it would give me the following message:

Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.

1 of 2 tasks have completed successfully

I clicked on the Error tab in that window and there was nothing listed there.  I closed out of the windows and clicked on the button to check my mail again and no error message.  The next time I want to check my mail I get that error message and I close out of that window and check it again and it works with no issue.  It has been like this for about a week and it becoming annoying.

What is the issue and how do I fix it or are Google Mail accounts not compatible with this application.  I used the IMAP settings.

    I went to that so-called solution article and it told me:

    How to gather Log files for troubleshooting Windows Live Messenger related Errors

    I don't have issues with Windows Live Messenger.  I have issues with Windows Live MAIL

    Why am I given a solution article for something that has nothing to do with my issue.

    Please provide us the log files from your Windows Live Mail for further investigation. Follow the steps in this article to collect the log files trace.

    Here are the steps to upload your log files:

    1. On the private area of the moderator's post, click Upload a File.
    2. Click Select.
    3. Navigate to where the file you want to upload is saved on your computer and click Submit.

    Also, please provide us MSInfo and Event viewer/logs. To do this, please follow the instructions in step 2 and step 3 in this Solution article and then upload them in the private data area below this post.

    I take it that this is normal and that in order for this to work I need to go back to using Outlook as much as I don't want to.  I hate Outlook and uses too many resources, but at least it works.  Microsoft needs to fix Windows Live Mail so this will not happen again.

    I only have that one account in that program. The only error message I got was:
