The "more information" link on a driver update redirects to a different site.

Original title : Windows Update "More Information" link broken

Windows Update (in Windows 7 64-bit) notified me of a driver update. I clicked the "More Information" link, and was taken to a webpage at "winqual.microsoft.com". This told me that the site has moved to "sysdev.microsoft.com", and I could find no way to find more information about this driver update.

    I would have you provide the KB article number as well as the name of the driver update.

    If you actually read this discussion, you'll see that the issue isn't with a particular KB.  It's with WIndows Update itself and the "More Information" links.  There are a number of sample links to the infamous winqual.microsoft.com site posted in this thread, copied straight from Windows Update that you can try out.

    This has got to be one of the funniest and saddest support thread I've ever read. :)

    Edit: Coming up on the 1-year anniversary.  Any bets as to whether it'll be fixed by then?

    Hey it's 13th of January  2013 and this still isn't fixed.

    Maybe everyone thinks the problem is fixed.  Mr Chettri got a raise.

    Same problem as everyone else. 

    If you can't fix the problem why not just get rid of the damn link for "More Information"

    Microsoft. Please fix this. ALL I want to know is the driver version that Windows Update wants to install.
