Hi,
Even though my phone is configures and connects to my router for internet connection - I cannot configure wireless sync as I get the following error "C00D07C9"?
I have tried the FAQ but still nothing.
Please help.

Good call with this article! I too had the same error with my Samsung Focus but I figured out that for some reason my route was not able to identify a device name, only the MAC address. (possibly a bug in WP7) Apparently Zune does not like this because as soon as I used a static IP address for my phone's MAC address and gave it the name of my phone as recognized by Zune, it worked!

Are you still receiving the same error message?
Have you tried to configure the device manually?
There’re some important recommendations that you must be aware:
Make sure that the access point or the router to which you connect is a DHCP server (make sure that DHCP is turned on).
Try to reserve an IP address for the Zune device on the router.
If you are using two routers, make sure that the router to which you try to connect is the DHCP server.

Maurico/Ianmm - do not despair. I can confirmed there is simply no 'advanced settings' and I also get this error C00D07C9. I'm using a Samsung Focus WP7 attempting to wirelessly sync to my Dlink DGL4500; every attempt resulted in C00D07C9.

But I've finally got it working! Thanks to Ianmm 'out-of-the-box' thinking... it's indeed the LAN vs WLAN although I still can't figure out why it matters! Both your PC and WP7 need to be on the same SSID to work! Yes, both must be connected wirelessly!

It took me a while to finally witness the wireless sync in action. Hence note the following once you've successfully setup wireless sync. It cannot be manually triggered. You'll know you're on the right path when your desktop automatically install the device driver (only happens after disconencting the sync cable from your desktop)
After you've completed the steps above, files will automatically sync to your phone wirelessly when the following conditions are met:
• Your phone and PC are both connected to your home Wi-Fi network. Note that wireless sync is not supported on workplace Wi-Fi networks.• Your phone battery has at least a medium-level charge ( ) and your phone is connected to an AC power adapter (that is, your phone must be connected to the wall charger and not connected to your computer).• You're not interacting with your phone. For example, you're not touching things on the screen, the backlight is off, and music and videos aren't playing (it's OK if a song or video is paused).
