How do I open an .aspx file?

I have just downloaded an .aspx file.  Windows 7 doesn't know how to open.  How can I open it?

An .ASPX file is a collection of processing routines written in Visual Basic Script. They are typically run from a web server or similar calling program by passing parameters into one or more of the routines.

If you try double-clicking the file, you are attempting to run it. When run out-of-context, e.g. not from a calling program, the .ASPX file can do nothing but damage.

If you want to see the underlying script commands, right click it and select Edit. The file should open in Notepad and you should be able to read the code.

    Well, tried everything - but no suggestion worked.  The downloaded file giving the user's manual for the Honda sh150i scooter is so completely blocked, that nothing will open it.  I suspect it is because it safeguards the only way to buy it, by spending 130 USD on ordering a rare book from the USA.  Surely Honda can do better! All other vehicles have a manual, or a Haynes.

    Disappointed!
