Here is something you might try. (I don't know if it will work).
In the search box(Cortana box to the right of the Windows button) type in Control Panel. This takes you back to the old Control Panel.
Go to Hardware and Sound.
Then go to Power Options.
Then go to Edit Plan Settings.
You will see the same "put your computer to sleep" and "turn off display".
Mine are all set to "Never". The advantage here is that you have a "Save Changes" button. I have never been totally comfortable with not having that.
Anyway, it's something to try.
