    I am trying to resolve a virus and was referred by Microsoft (I think) to Protectera LLC in Princeton, NJ to resolve and they are going to charge.  Is this a valid and trusted Microsoft Partner?

    I was similarly contacted by Infofix LLC 20 days ago who purported to fix the problem but did not.  Is Infofix a Microsoft trusted solution provider?

    Scammers. Don't pay them and don't allow them remote access to your computer.  If you have a virus problem, go to the top of this page, click on "Ask a Question," and start a new thread with the details.
