Your Key is an MAK key - which means that it's a Volume License key - your System Admin should know it (it is, after all, their responsibility)
Your system could not have shipped with Win 7 - it was built in 2007 at the latest, so the Key on the sticker is either for Win XP, or for Vista, and would not work on Win 7 anyhow.
There really is nothing we can do for you, except to advise you that if you bought this key through retail channels, then you were sold a counterfeit.
That being the case, then you could ask Sony to provise you with a set of the original recovery disks for your machine, then upgrade that to Win 7 using a legal pack bought from a reputable dealer.
