Here are some utilities, all of which will display your product keys:

Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

(It does a good job of providing a wealth of information.)

Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml

and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

Note: Also check the side of your PC case or bottom of the laptop for the

OEM key code. If there is a sticker with the code it will most likely not

match what is displayed by the utilities mentioned above as OEMs such as

Dell use an internal key code when they build your PC.

The key code on the sticker is for use with your Windows CD

(that hopefully came with your PC)

if you ever need to reinstall Windows.

for starters e machine doe snot give you 2 sets of the code.

2nd the computer place installed the program not me.

3 Microsoft told me they could look up the number just had to e-mail

them a picture but the e-mail address they provided does not work.

and lastly I paid $300 for the computer which makes it on them.

This is the United States not Canada

E-Machine and Microsoft are reasonable to keep up with that information.

Since they are ones selling the product.

I was not given but 1 coa code and they put it on the bottom of the desktop where it got

damaged due to poor placement by e-machine,.

No there was not 2 copies of the COA label.

Who were you asking to look up the code for you?

Why do you think that they would know what code was on the machine?

The key code on the COA sticker is NOT the one in use on the computer from new. It is for emergency use for when the hard drive fails and the user has failed to make the recovery disk set even after being prompted to do so.

Did you make the recovery set when prompted?

Did you make a note of the COA key code?

Do you seriously believe that Microsoft and E Machines should be responsible for how you look after your computer?

You are provided two key codes, the one in use on the pre-installed image and the COA key code. You have to take some of the responsibility for losing both..

My E Machine has Windows 7 Home Premium and I have 22 of the 25 charters from Product Label.  I was told to e-mail a picture of it to: ******@mssupport.micosoft.com but when I e-mail it says not able to send a few hours later.

I am not going to pay for a new code. I paid for it once when paid $300 for the computer.

They need to get off the can and look my code up for me like they told me they would. The e-mail address I was given does not accept the e-mails and I need my product code fixed.

I have contacted the better business bureau and filed complaint on microsoft for not dealing with my issues and telling me I needed to pay $100 for them to fix my product code. That is not going to happen. I am not going to pay them to fix or look up my code when I already paid for the code when I purchased the computer.

Need Windows 7 Home Prem Acer product code looked up for 1st  3 charters.

If you do a Windows 7 Starter search on the 'Flipkart' website it finds an anytime upgrade from Starter to Home Premium which was available everywhere, and a book describing Windows 7 editions including Starter, but there is no Windows 7 Starter operating system software there..

There is a nice little article on Windows 7 editions here..
