Hi,

Click the " ? " on the Snipping Tool for HELP. To print a Snip it has to be put into

Paint or another program. The advantage of using the Snipping Tool is that you

don't have to print the entire screen.

Start - type in Search box -> Snipping Tool    find at top of list and double click on it.

thankyou for your links, however...this doesnt answer the question

the original question, and im assuming why everyone else is here is to find out why we cant print to paper direct from snipping tool

Marcus, the original question is from many years ago when you could "not" print directly from the Snipping Tool. Microsoft said the program was developed that way for a reason, albeit "clueless" seems more accurate to me. However, MS has changed their tune and Snipping Tool will now print directly using normal print functionality as long as you are running Windows10. If you are running Windows10 you should be good, if not you'll need to use some of the other options discussed throughout this 6 year discussion.

Sounds like the shortest answer would simply be "no."

    Hi Davem1010

Thanks for the instructions. Printing directly is still not possible in Windows 8! The steps you describe are a good workaround though. Still takes quite a few clicks.
