The Zune Feature Request & Suggestion Thread

I suggest to sticky this thread!

here are my suggests between zune and windows phone:

  • see new apps like top app list and if u click u can see lot of new apps
  • order lists by genre, date, price...
  • see the download, install and sync status of an app
  • see the apps installed in my phone

and here about zune:

  • In playlist view a now playng voice that easy help us manage playlists and now playng songs
  • in playlist and now playng edit details voice for id3tags without go to collection
  • Auto convert id3 tags to filename and viceversa
  • Sync with a usb thumb drive (like media player) not only with microsoft devices and burner
  • Save and read playlists in .m3u too that are universal without it's too complicate manage playlist between more softwares and devices
  • Show duplicate files in a playlist and if there are in another playlist too

    Feature requests:

    • Sound Graphical Equaliser (Including presets)

    Just about every PC music client has one, suprised this does not.

    • Sound improvements

    Please offer some Audio DSP filters, even if just ripped/loaded from WMP.

    • Sharing/Steaming support for Zune PC clients. WMP offers this, Zune only supports Xbox 360 streaming.
    • Theme/Colour customisation

    Default themes have very little impact. I want to set Windows Live style themes onto Metro or at least change the colours.

    I doubt there will be anymore updates for the 120 as it has not been manufactured in 1.5 yrs now.  What is on the device is what's on it.  I wouldn't be complaining if they did have an update as I have a 120 as well.  I'd be really happy if they'd update the HD though....

    Yes no more updates for Zune players, even HD as it is a End-of-Life product.
