Hearts program cheats! I've specifically caught the game cheating. Passed Ace & King Spades to the right & they ended up across the table. I think this is BULL I would expect a program to play by the rules!

To Microsoft:

Why did you even release Microsoft Hearts, considering all it does is show how little you care into making a game?  It's sad how blatantly it cheats.  AT LEAST once a hand, of any suit, one side will have the 4, one side will have the 3, and the last side will have the 2, and, of course, the player will have to take the hand.  Usually, THE VERY NEXT HAND, one side will have the 6 of the same suit, another side will have the 7, and the last side will have the 8, and, again, the player will have to take the hand.  Also, it seems awfully suspicious that the one side that just happens to have the queen of spades is also the side that just happens to be passing to the player that hand.  I once started or received the queen of spades EIGHT TIMES IN A ROW.  That's f**king pathetic... I really wish that the people who made this game have heard of SHUFFLING.  And in keeping with the spirit of the game, most of the time (at least 60% I'd guess) the player gets the queen of spades, the computer will make sure the player has to take it.  I seriously can't understand why you would even make this game, Microsoft.  There are easier ways to show people that you want them to f**k off than making a game for them to play that doesn't even try to be fair.  Don't get me wrong, I'm all for giving jobs to the mentally challenged (and I understand that the Special Olympics doesn't pay the bills), but maybe you shouldn't have made them make an entire game without supervision.  That's the only way that makes sense to me on why the game is so bad.

Will Shank said... - I have a fake 95% win rate because I "dump" a game when I think I have been cheated.  It's more fun this way because the game fights back the only way it can.  It rigs the deal.  If you still believe that this game deals the cards randomly then read on.  This happened to me a couple of days ago.

I was fed the Queen of Spades in the first two hands and now we were on the 3rd.  A few tricks were played and then East took a Heart. I won the next trick and then led with the 3 of Hearts. West played the Queen of Spades, North played the 2 of Hearts and East sloughed off something. That's right.  I won the trick (and the Queen)with a 3 the first time around for Hearts. After that it turned out that every remaining Heart was in either my hand or West's hand. Every Heart I led out, West was able to get under.  I ended up taking 25 points.

So that was the 3rd consecutive hand where I took the Queen of Spades and so the score at that point was me having 63 points and the bots having the other 13 split among them. That was a random deal?

Dump!!

I just caught hearts cheating!! East started with a spade.   Two people put heats on it, another put a club, and the heart won the set!! It happening similar to that twice in a row!! I have had all of the experiences that you all have listed.  It truly is a sophomoric  system that they do not make it random. It is maddening when you know that they have set you up in the beginning! It would be so much more enjoyable if it were random. The only solution is to stop

and give yourself a new hand, but have discovered that they have

also set you up that way. These guys think it is fun, playing with our lives this way, with all of the choices that they have to mess with you!

One thing you can do is to change your strategy periodically. If you have a strategy that seems to work well, the game "learns" it, and is able to counter. Change your strategy now and then. Unfortunately, I seem to be running low on effective strategies. The game knows all of my angles and moves now. Despite this, I have played and won a perfect game; five consecutive moon shoots from start to finish, shutting the other players out 100%. It will probably never happen again.
