I try to install the game after installed the program can't start because d3dx_43.dll is missing from your computer so I dowload d3dx9.dll from internet but the program still can't start how do i fix it?

2018-03-01T21:55:27+00:00 I have the exact same problem ever since the latest Windows 10 update. I've had to reinstall various C++ redistributables to get some of my software to work again, and now some of my steam games are refusing to work.
Project Cars (Which was already installed and working prior to the windows update) is asking for d3dx_43.dll and the installer from your link refuses to work regardless of what compatibility settings I run it in. (It constantly says I need to be running Win 98/Me/XP/2003)
