When forwarding emails, pictures are stripped from text & put in slide show destroying original

Check out my experiments in this thread, it tells me something, but I don't know if it tells Microsoft anything!

In the beginning, it was difficult to convey the problem to the crew at Microsoft.  Many of us tried our best, even sending files of WLM-encoded incoming and outgoing messages that demonstrated the problem.  Finally I believe that the MS folks got a grasp; they promised a fix, but it never came.

What's maddening is that the earlier 2009 version of WLM did not exhibit this problem at all.  Equally frustrating is that correspondence between a WLM user and an MS Outlook user never has an issue.  But get someone using Thunderbird or gMail in the loop and WLM takes the message apart and 'redistributes' it.

Notwithstanding, WLM is a good mail client program with features that even MS's Outlook fails to provide.  All this dancing around over the past couple of years gives me a headache, but I won't abandon WLM because of its several advantages over the MS "Cadillac," Outlook.

This is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I just read 15 pages of posts over a 2 1/2 year period and there still is no answer. Well just goes to prove what my brother, sister-in-law and son have been telling me. GET A MAC!!

All I can say is WOW, three of you have really hung in here:

****Yesterday I downloaded Windows Live Mail,  2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205) Definitely an upgrade from the WLM 2011...version 15...... and still the same problem... Microsoft let me down...I have been fighting this problem for over two years... through 2 different computers & two different operating systems

I have Windows 7 Home Edition and Internet Explorer 9.

I have been browsing Windows 8 forums and Internet Explorer 10 forums, and I definitely will stay right where I am! I went from XP direct to Win7 (no Vista) and have been quite happy with it.
