how many points is it possible to score in spider solitaire intermediate?

Trying to figure out the maximum number of points that can be scored playing spider solitaire intermediate -----the one with two suits.

My highest scores for Spider Solitaire (Windows 7's version) on intermediate are as follows:

1238 (5/23/2010)

1222 (6/20/2010)

1214 (8/30/2010)

1195 (4/4/2011)

1180 (6/12/2011)

I'm positive there are higher scores possible. :)

Wikipedia states that the highest possible score is 1293 given a perfect deal (and I'm assuming that's on Expert mode given the additional score possibilites being lower than what I've achieved on intermediate mode).

Win percentage is almost meaningless (addressing another "answer") as all games of Spider Solitaire are winnable given the unlimited undo's in Windows' version. I've played 646 games thus far with a 100% win percentage.

You can get as high a score as you want.  It just takes time.

Find a game where when you clear a column you get the no more moves screen.  You just got 100 points. Click to return to the game and undo.  The game forgets to take away the 100 points.   clear the column again and get another 100 points (minus the point for the undo and the point for the move to clear the column).  Wash, rinse, repeat until you reach the score you want or get bored.

    My high score analysis assumes you never have to move cards from the deck.  IE they always land on a matching suit and in decreasing order.

    I agree completely that this is extremely unlikely.  I have been musing on how to construct a "perfect" deal but have not gotten very far.  I have not found a trivial solution.

    Due to a bug in the program, it is possible to get as high a score as you want.  I have a post near the top of the list explaining how to do this.  It is easy hit the particular sequence without realizing you got points you should not have.

    As to the automatic clear when an Ace lands on a column:  This can only happen when the column is headed by a King.  I covered these cases by not requiring a move to remove a King.

    There is also a problem created when cards are drawn that are placed in the proper order not requiring a movement to place them in order. Theoretically, the game requiring the fewest number moves would be accomplished by having to make only a few moves because the cards were already basically in order. 

    Foe example, assuming the ideal fallout of the cards in proper sequence the first row could be removed with only two moves.  The max score would be predicated on the requirement of the fewest moves which if one is lucky enough to have the cards fall in sequence would actually require only a relatively few number of moves.  This is a complex version of drawing a royal flush in poker in the 1st 5 cards needing no further draws.  Though highly unrealistic if we are talking about the max score this type of luck must be considered.
