For those people who have both Nokia 6120c and Nokia E51 I ask to compare the power consumption in standby mode and during the conversation. By doing this you may prove that the SAR level of E51 can be High Only when WiFi is on.

There is a free software built specially for S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1 which can test the power consumption, battery capacity and make any statistics you want. It's name is Nokia Energy Profiler. Just google it, download and check everything.

Try to use bluetooth or the same handsfree for both devices. Theoretically the difference in conversation and standby will show power consumption of radio. If this difference is the same for both devices than we can conclude that SAR level is almost the same for both devices. Hence, no worry.

Why nokia 6120, because it's the most close device with almost the same hardware (processor speed, etc) and software (S60, 3rd, FP1)

E51 is small and fast, but the rubber buttons are terrible - switching on/off the phone needs heavy force and sometimes I think the phone will break. And even the phone has metal covers, it's kind of feels too much plastic.

But right now the main problem for me is bad speaker sound, low headphone sound and nonadjustable light sensor, for the last issue the workaround is to cover the light sensor window with black sticker.

I also hear a creaking noise when I press the record button on my E51. It is the only creaking thing on my phone. To answer to ksuuk, I am also using a 6120 classic, and I find it quite alright, especially since it allows me to use the video call minutes included in my monthly subscription. The E51 is a better phone on the overall, due to longer battery life, better materials, and WiFi. However, each phone has its advantages and disadvantages.

Well, as it made from plastic, it sure make creaking noise, and sad that Nokia didn't made from the scratch new phone (like E50), but they remade the ordinary low level phone (6120) and added some (metallic)extras and named it business phone.

I should add that it appears from the forum discussions that most E51's don't creak at all, but that many do.
