"Consider Replacing Your Battery" Issue in Windows 7 Professional RTM

I have Acer Aspire 7515z. I using windows 7 RTM. Now it is showing a cross icon on battery saying that "Consider replacing your battery" as my battery is giving the same performance. I disabled the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Battery Method, it vanished the icon but didn't extended my battery's life. I re-installed windows but same issue is occuring. Help me to sort out this issue. thanks

Can't even find a 7515z in the Acer list!!

It could be that the battery in the laptop is not in good condition and Windows is telling you this, so do NOT turn off the warnings..

    I also have the same problem with my Neo Notebook, which was purchased 3 years ago. I don't know if it is with my battery or it's just the error from Windows.

    Can someone help me? I'm really bothered.

    Shall I buy a new battery, or shall I do some tweaking or whatever?

    In terms of proper care, I do let my battery drain once a month. Currently this year, I had it drained usually twice a week but not frequently due to my projects in school. This issue just started this Monday (March 24).

    i am using Lenovo T430 with WIN7 OS and got the same warring "consider replacing your battery".

    I solved the issue by completely consuming the battery (with no charger attached), then just plugged in the charger and turned ON the laptop. The warning was not appearing any more.

    Just remember to double check whether the battery is fully consumed by Turing ON the laptop without attaching the charger.

    i have managed to get into powercfg-energy my problem is after waiting 60 sec i get a message saying energy efficiency problems were found (11) Errors, (14) warnings, (14) informational  c:\windows\system32\energy-report.html for more details i type energy-report.html and press enter key i then get a message saying this page can't be displayed 

    the options it says are 

    make sure web address is correct

    look for the page with your search engine

    refresh the page in a few minutes.

    there is a button says fix connection problems. when i press that it says make sure the web address you're trying to reach is spelled correctly

    windows can't find "file///c:/windows/system32/energy-report.html".

    i am now stuck and dont no what to do please help me thanks joe
