I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How do I change the font color that describes the desktop icons?

Hi

You cannot change the Desktop font color.

Because Desktop wallpaper images have varying colors, it is easy for the font colors to be unreadable if they are on top of the same color as a wallpaper image. For instance a black font on top of a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

The Desktop icon fonts are dynamic and will show white on dark backgrounds and change to white with a black shadow effect on a light background.

    I believe it's not true at all. My company often changes the desktop background image, and when the image have a white background we cannot see icon labels unless we activate shadows on the visual effects option, under the performance tab.

    The more I read your posts the more you confirm your a twit IT SHOULD BE UP TO US DipNut man like a political society the majority of power users have to suffer for the twits. If you felt this is really a good idea to have fine it sounds good But WE THE ONES THAT BUY YOUR PRODUCT should be allowed to think or use our brain to decide what we want. The people at MS are really getting more dumb by the minute. Look there was a post that showed you could do it previously and you twits i.e. MS decided to take that away in windows 8 and 10, Like I said before your nitwits at MS have made a disaster of an OS since XP. and OMG lets not even go to Metro where you MS have decided to stop US FROM making our own tiles to suit OUR tastes when there came a simple program to trump your strangle hold of our OWN DESIGN you again figured out how to screw it up so it would not work in windows 10. You people as MS sure are as stupid as a mule... oh excuse me the Mule is smarter at least when he gets kicked in the **** he gets and moves...You don't!!!

    Your as stupid as the rest of the design team of MS IT SHOULD ALLOW US the option to change it if we want to your really a bunch of dumb **** geeks with no common sense in your noggin and THAT IS WHY EVERY OS since XP has been a failure! we know what WE want so let us have the option to allow us to have what we want.
