All of the above file types can be queued to the Windows Media Player Playlist using a right-click.
well, actually, the shark codecs kinda messed up my ability to play my xvids and avis in media player like they used to. yes, i could play my flac files in wmp, but i could no longer load my avis or xvids and my preview pane had stopped loading those same
files. i use windows vista
i hate to bring a bummer into this forum topic but i was forced to uninstall the shark codecs and install the k-lite standard codecs and i must be truthfull in saying that everything is working correctly now.
my flac's play in wmp 11, my avis and xvids are back to playing in my wmp 11, and my preview pane loads up and plays all of those files now as well.
also, i can now play mkv in wmp 11 as well as flac.
the shark007 codecs and made some registry changes that had removed key registry entries, or perhaps it was just my installing and uninstalling of codecs, but the k lite actually repaired all of those on install.
i just wanted to be honest in my posts here and let you know this.
if there is one thing to be gained here, it is the knowledge that is not a good idea to install a load of codecs. pick one, install it, and if it works, great. if you still need codec help, uninstall your exsisting codecs and install another pack until
you get what you need.
thank you guys for all of your help.
i really appreciate it. without your help here i would not have gained the knowledge and the working codecs i needed
peace
