Pictures.library-ms is no longer working

I keep getting this message but my pics are still there and my pic slideshow screensaver is still working.  how can I fix this?

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

To fix this problem, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the corresponding library (Pictures, in your case) and choose Delete. Click yes when asked for confirmation.

Note: Deleting a library does not delete the contents of the included folders. However, you may need to re-add or include your folders manually, if needed.

Then, in the navigation pane of Windows Explorer, right-click Libraries and click Restore default libraries.

This recreates the library that was deleted earlier. This option only restores the default libraries.

Please respond back and let us know the status of the issue.

    I am having the same problem as tazzytm. I even did a system restore, which didn't help :(

    I have Windows 7 and it doesn't give me the option to delete, it says 'open, share, send, copy, rename or properties'. There is no option to delete.

    Tbh I am lost on the whole windows 7 thing, I am still used to xp lol

    i'm having the same problem, but iv'e deleted the things, but i do restore, but they just come back and they're no different than before. what do i need to do? P.s could it be possible a recent install or virus cause what has happened to my computer?
