Pictures.library-ms is no longer working

I keep getting this message but my pics are still there and my pic slideshow screensaver is still working.  how can I fix this?

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

To fix this problem, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the corresponding library (Pictures, in your case) and choose Delete. Click yes when asked for confirmation.

Note: Deleting a library does not delete the contents of the included folders. However, you may need to re-add or include your folders manually, if needed.

Then, in the navigation pane of Windows Explorer, right-click Libraries and click Restore default libraries.

This recreates the library that was deleted earlier. This option only restores the default libraries.

Please respond back and let us know the status of the issue.

    that didn't work for me. i tried it. but i'm still not able to open the photos library. all the people here get this error message? i'm not getting any error message at all!

    i can open all other libraries just fine, but something is wrong & i need help!

    i don't think i have the premium support thingy, i chatted with a rep thru the online chat, but that didn't help either. what can i do?!
