My volume control button has dissapeared from the bottom right hand corner of my screen - how can i get it back?

Dont Worry....... Just rightclick on taskbar---->properties----->select Notification Area Tab--------->In system Icon select "volume" ................I hope it will help u........

    After clicking properties there is no Notification Area Tab

    I tried this step by step what Arun said, and it did not work. It shows that it is on, but in another comment someone said theirs was "grayed out" in another place and wouldn't let them change that, which is exactly the issue I'm having also. This computer is Window's 10!

    When I right click on the taskbar and go thru properties as indicated above, it will not allow me to change the icon's such as "volume" that are turned off.  Is there something else I am missing to be able to put the volume back on my task bar?

    I should not have to restart my computer every time my volume button from the taskbar disappears.  Looks like this problem has been going on since the dawn of windows.  Why can't you fix this annoying problem?  Why is it so difficult for an operating system to work completely?  I thought this was supposed to be leaps ahead of windows 7 and 8.1.  Fix this problem: so annoying.  

    I restarted my computer and half hour later I wanted to lower the volume before I unplugged my headphones and the taskbar volume icon was gone: again.  So frustrating.  I repeat: I should not have to restart my computer every time I want it to work properly.  It should work properly every time I need it to work properly.  

    Stupid problem.  

    I would like the volume button to be where I need it, one click and a roll of the mouse scroll whichever way I need it: every time.  

    Now I have to pin the volume mixer, move my mouse up to the system volume and go from there.  An extra step which should not have to be taken due to an erroneous operating system.  

    I hope you understand the frustration.  

    Fix it.
