System backup error [0x80041321]

I am getting reminder to do system backup, when I attempt to do just that I receive message:  the task image is corrupt or has been tampered with [0x80041321].  I cant backup anything now and am worried.  Any help out there?

    I have Windows7 64-bit.  Does this apply to my OS?

    I tried this and had the same results as the others who tried and it didn't work.

    Just tried this approach.  Only found the Windows Backup Monitor task, which I deleted.  Windows Backup still complaining with error 0x80041321.   Any other suggestions?
