System backup error [0x80041321]

I am getting reminder to do system backup, when I attempt to do just that I receive message: the task image is corrupt or has been tampered with [0x80041321]. I cant backup anything now and am worried. Any help out there?

2011-04-18T22:04:19+00:00 Just tried this approach. Only found the Windows Backup Monitor task, which I deleted. Windows Backup still complaining with error 0x80041321. Any other suggestions?

I need to know that also before I attempt the above fixes.
