Hi. I am trying to listen to an Overdrive protected audio file from a
local public library.
When I try opening the ODM file in Overdrive Media Console, for
delivery of the full media file, I get the error "Unable to aquire a license to play the selected title. The requested license is either invalid or already aquired"
I get an other error when I try to
get the "Security Upgrade" for WMP11.
I am using Vista 64 bit on a HP a67oof, WMP11, IE8
Overdrive media console is 16bit software so I dont know if thats why I cant get it work???

Well I was able to run as administrator, but when I go to http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp the Upgrade button is still grayed out.
craholtz: I had a hard time figuring this out myself, but eventually found it. Make sure that IE isn't already running, then right-click the IE icon in the taskbar while holding Shift. The Run as administrator option should now be available.

I am having the same issue. I am running windows 8 (64) and the "Upgrade" button on the above microsoft drm webpage is greyed out, thus it is non functional. Also, when I right click in IE 10, there is no option to Run As Administrator. Help?
eeeehaw: are you running Internet Explorer as administrator? (right-click - Run as administrator)
I also suggest that you turn off IE's Protected Mode. Does that help?
