This is insanity!
I have the same issue
NO problems under XP/Linux
Win7-64bit:
When I come out of sleep mode I have to unplug re-plug back in the monitor's power to wake up the screen. Otherwise the power button on the monitor is useless.
I purchased ioGear KVM 1764 right before win7 came out. So Microsoft is telling me I have to scrap a brand new KVM just because there software has changed. That to me is completely unacceptable. I have been living with this problem for 2 years now.
My Work Around:
My work-around is to plug the windows7 PC directly into the DVI (input #1) of the monitor.
Then I plugged the KVM to the analog (input #2) of the monitor using a dvi->analog converter at the KVM side. When I need the computers on the KVM I have to change sources at the monitor from analog to DVI, and vica versa. Love the extra step and I have to use an analog cable on DVI-KVM (defeats the purpose of having a KVM and it being DVI).
