windows live mail unsent messages in outbox

Thanks for the reply. The "Unsent mail in your outbox" (even when there was none!) notice fhas finally stopped. Don't know what happened but that's ok.

Wish I could give a sure solution!  My problem disappeared, but what I know is that I separated/straightened out the "Accounts" and data appearing there.  Odd things happen, and disappear, with WLM, like "tabs" leading to other Menus, with no basic instructions anywhere.  (Even the "Insert" Tab being required inexplicably.

The most comforting thing I can say is that no experimenting (so far) has caused any collateral harm, and I find WLM the best, for storage, clarity of page, absence of clutter, and range of Font varieties--most of the features of WORD.

This may be too late to help!  I've just been notified about your question.  After fumbling for months (as one does with WLive Mail, sometimes making a discovery about the way unsuspected Options can be discovered)--I  reduced the "Accounts" that helpfully interconnect WLM with other email services.  I then found that mail got sent out immediately, without hanging about in the OUT folder.

I spent 5 hours Googling this very same problem.  I spent 45 minutes in a Comcast chat room.  I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Comcast.  I've never seen that Outbox Folder!!!!!  I followed your instructions and my problem email was there!!!!   Thank you, thank you.  You were the ONLY person who gave these particular instructions.
