Same problem here, I've tried everything, followed through every step-by-step procedure, from soundcard driver updating to settings, but audio lag in mic is still here!! I'm getting almost a second of delay! Mic is connected to soundcards rear panel mic
input and I'm getting my sound through the coaxial output of my soundcard connected to the amplifier and then to the speakers. Here is the dxdiag below

I've also tired setting stereo mix as default sound capture, but didn't change anything.
