How do I get Classic Folder Icons Back?

Thanks Divya, But I need the flat folder back.  I have already selected a photo for each folder in customize, but they are so hard to see.  I have thousands of pictures of beads for my ebay store, etsy store and website and those vertical photos do not show me a good view of the beads.  I must open each folder to find the actual flat photos to identify my beads.

I really need the flat square folders back with a flat square picture on top so I can see what I am doing.  I am thinking of returning my purchase and new laptops and calling the whole upgrade off.  I cannot work like this, the inability to quickly locate my merchandise visually in the folders is wasting hours of manual labor every day.  It is such a simple request, I even tried bringing the folder icons over from Windows XP and I selected the flat folder, but then was not able to customize it with a photo, so it did not work. 

If there is a quick fix, or some download I could use, to be able to customize my folders I would keep Windows 7, but it looks like there is no solution.  I have scoured the q&a pages for hours to find some other user who found an answer or quick fix, but to no avail. 

I am not the only person who works with large quantities of photos and now cannot figure out what is in each folder, because the vertical/half view of the cover photo is not easy to see and identify.  It is a strange view that sometimes only shows me a corner of a bead or two, which is not acceptable.

I purchased 2 laptops with Windows 7 and spent over $2200 in local Staples thinking I would be making things faster/easier for my growing business.  Things have come to a halt, due to the photo folders being unrecognizable.  It is my inventory photos I need quick access to, to keep my business going and with one simple upgrade I seem to have destroyed my ability to work quickly and efficiently. 

I will go back to my old laptop and Windows XP if there is no fix and return my purchases to Staples with a hard lesson learned.  We have spent a week transferring everything to new computers, only to find we cannot work.  What used to be a simple 3 second process finding my beads in my folders, is now a nightmare of needless, time consuming searching...

You can change this setting manually for each picture appearing in folder to identify easily.

Right click on the folder-> Click on Customize tab-> Click Choose a file->  Select the picture that you need to set. Click Apply. Click OK.

This will set a particular picture to appear on the folder to identify.

The appearance of the folder will be vertical in Windows 7. It cannot change the view of the folder as horizontal as it was in Windows XP.
